Talyor: patient-artist, age 12Talyor
patient-artist, age 12

Seeing Taylor out on the golf course is seeing this charismatic boy in his element. So it's not surprising to find out that this young man likes to spend most of his summer days out swinging his clubs. Always positive, sometimes silly and amazingly mature for his age, Taylor also loves The Paint Box Project.

As a patient-artist since 2003, Taylor has created many designs for our collections over the years. Of his work with the Project and Carly’s Club, Taylor says, "I'm not a hero. I'm just someone who wants to help the people who helped me."

Taylor will be celebrating his six years of remission with his family this holiday season. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was only six years old, this is definitely a milestone worth rejoicing over. And Taylor knows who he owes much of his gratitude to for this gift of life. "The doctors and nurses at Roswell Park are amazing," he says. "They're my favorite part about coming to the hospital."
